What we collect

• Contact form & inquiries — your name, email or phone, what you wrote.
• Volunteer signup — your name, contact info, the shift you signed up for, any accessibility or scheduling notes you share.
• Enrollment inquiries — the participant's name, age, programs of interest, and any support needs you tell us about so we can plan.
• Donations — payment is processed by Stripe; we receive your name, email, donation amount, and frequency. We never see or store your card number.
• Newsletter — your email address.
• Automatic — page view, browser type, IP address. We use PostHog for this; see “Who we share with” below.

How we use it

• Reply to your inquiry or referral.
• Run the program you signed up for, including making accommodations.
• Process and acknowledge your donation. Send a tax receipt.
• Send the monthly newsletter (if you opted in).
• Improve the website — what's clear, what's confusing.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or to train AI systems.

Who we share with

The short list:

• Stripe — payment processor. They get your name, email, donation amount, and frequency. We never see or store your card number. Their privacy policy governs payment data.
• PostHog — product analytics. We send your email (and name, on the contact form) when you submit a form, so we can see whether the site is working. For donations, we record the donation amount tied to your email. PostHog also records your IP address as part of standard web analytics. Their privacy policy.
• Legal compliance — if required by law.

We never sell or rent your information. We never share with advertisers or data brokers.

Cookies & analytics

We use PostHog for analytics — see “Who we share with” above. PostHog is configured to skip third-party cookies, so cookie-banner rules don't apply.

We use minimal first-party storage for things like keeping you logged in (admin only) and respecting your accessibility preferences.

Your rights

You can:

• Ask what we have on you — email hello@missionablefl.org.
• Update or correct your information — same address.
• Delete your information — same address. We'll keep donation records as required by tax law.
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter — one click in any email.

Children & minors

Our programs are designed for adults with disabilities. Where minors participate, enrollment is handled by a parent or guardian and we collect only what's necessary for safety, supports, and accommodations.

The website itself is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data. No system is perfect — if you discover a vulnerability, please email hello@missionablefl.org and we'll act on it.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we'll update the date at the top, post a note on this page for 30 days, and email newsletter subscribers a summary of what changed.
